Contributing towards energy research

A partnership spanning the globe and involving stakeholders from Japan and the United States plan to explore the role methane gas hydrates may play as a future energy resource. This project, involving the development of an onshore test production facility up in the North Slope of Alaska, included the engineering and design of modules that Ennovate was proud to be a part of.

Utilizing the capabilities of Canadian engineering and fabrication expertise, we provided four modules through the completion of 60% and detailed engineering, as well as procurement and fabrication. The modules required unique oversized transportation arrangements, as they were transported by road from the Edmonton, Alberta area, to Hay River, NWT, and then moved onto specially designed barges for transport up the MacKenzie River to the project site.

With our work in a challenging environment such as the North Slope, Ennovate is committed to supporting a vital energy project.

Project Highlights

Reliability Studies

Specialized project studies

Ennovate conducted several reliability studies for the entire Methane Hydrate facility. By analyzing the probability of failure and identifying potential failure modes, we helped the client identify and mitigate risks, improve quality, and maximize uptime availability.

Whether you're looking to improve the reliability of your existing facilities, optimize the design of new facilities, or comply with regulatory requirements, we have the expertise and resources to help you achieve your goals. Contact us today to learn more about our reliability study services.

Canadian Module Fabrication

Modularized engineering & fabrication

Working closely with our client's engineering team, Ennovate provided the full suite of engineering design and procurement support for the fabrication of four modules in Alberta. This included two generator modules, an electrical equipment module, and a desander module.

A complex project involving the coordination of "just-in-time" delivery of materials/equipment from across North America, Ennovate was proud to provide detailed design and project/logistics management for the coordination of this international fabrication effort.
