Working with Prolium, an Alberta based company specializing in the repair, modification, and maintenance of above ground tanks, we provided engineering and design for a temporary bypass piping line for sour water serice to allow for the critical shutdown of a feed prep tank located in the Suncor Base Plant.

Schedule was key to this project, and required responsive engineering that allowed for client review and input to "out-of-the-box" alternative designs to meet a tight deadline. Ennovate provided piping design and layout, piping stress analysis, structural support engineering, and electrical heat tracing design and engineering.

Overall, this project was completed safety to allow for the critical bypass of sour water to allow a complete tank out-of-service turnaround.
